The partnership expands RPMC’s portfolio with DAYY’s next-generation superluminescent diodes (SLEDs), amplified spontaneous emission (ASE) sources, and tunable lasers for biomedical imaging, defense, semiconductor metrology, telecom, and industrial sensing.
DAYY Photonics brings over a decade of expertise in developing Single SLEDs (762–1703 nm, up to 50 mW), Multi-SLEDs (810–1725 nm, up to 130 mW), high-power ASE sources (up to 200 mW), and narrow-linewidth tunable ECL and DFB lasers (0.1 nm linewidth). These solutions power applications like optical coherence tomography (OCT) for ophthalmic imaging, rangefinders for defense, wafer inspection for semiconductors, and fiber Bragg grating (FBG) sensing for aerospace.
